Karthik Krishna Jayaram
Karthik is currently working as an Electrical Engineer in Boston, USA. A passionate singer born into a family of musicians and learning carnatic music from Kalaimamani Unnikrishnan and hindustani music from Pt. Tapan Baidya (was a student of Late Vaiyangara Madhusoodanan and Pt. Ramesh Narayan).He sings malayalam, tamil and hindi languages primarily but comfortably sings in 12 Indian languages including bengali, gujarati and marathi.
- A graded artist in the All India Radio and is a member of various organizations such as Penn Sargam and SPICMACAY Cornell Chapter to name a few.
- Came in top 3 of “World Wide Indian Idol” organized by Rungmunch theater judged by Kailash Kherji, Sanjeevani Bhelandeji and many other celebrities. Also won 2nd place in T-Series’ “Singing Superstar” and was appreciated by playback singer Tulsi Kumar and music director Sanjay Vidyarthi.
- The only person to win prizes in all categories in a carnatic music contest organized by Padma Bhushan Sangita Kalanidhi Smt. Sudha Reghunathan’s school of music in July 2020.
- Came 3rd in a worldwide tamil film song competition “SingInSruti” in 2020 January judged by eminent playback singers of tamil industry.
- Sang a devotional song under the label of Zee Music. Currently working on an original song under the banner of T-Series.
- One of the featured artists on Smule India blog and winner of Smule India Award 2021! Also in the core committee of Sonar Tori (verified bengali community) and Arijitsinghfc (verified fan club page).
Bharathi Jayaraman
Bharathi Jayaraman is a Carnatic Vocalist currently based in Singapore.
- She has been learning Carnatic Classical Music since the age of 4 under various gurus in Jamshedpur (Jharkhand) and Mumbai.
- She commenced her tutelage under Smt. Vidya Harikrishna (Disciple of Smt. T.R. Balamani and Shri T.V. Gopalakrishnan) in 2007, also with whom she is currently undergoing Advanced Vocal Training.
- Bharathi has participated and won in several vocal competitions and performed vocal recitals in numerous sabhas and temples in Mumbai from 2010 until now.
- She has continued to enthrall audiences through her mellifluous voice and sound technical delivery with performances in Singapore, notably in Esplanade Concourse, Singapore Indian Fine Arts Society (SIFAS, Kalabaibhavam 2018) and has featured as one of the vocalists and creative concept head in a few Indian Raga Labs (Carnatic & light music – fusion) and Tapas Labs, Singapore.
